Watch: Freedom of Information Day 2015

On March 13th, presented two panels in partnership with the Newseum Institute, Reporters Committee for Freedom of the Press, Sunshine in Government Initiative, and the American Library Association.

The two panels addressed the "successes, challenges, and prospects" for open government. The first panel featured:

  • Sean Moulton, Center for Effective Government (Moderator)
  • Sean Vitka, Sunlight Foundation
  • Shanna Devine, Government Accountability Project
  • Miriam Nisbet, formerly of OGIS
  • Tom Blanton, National Security Archive
  • Eric Mill, 18F

The panelists in the second panel responded to the ideas presented in the first. Panelists included:

  • Joe Goldman, Democracy Fund (Moderator)
  • Professor Bruce Cain, Stanford University (via Skype)
  • Charles S. Clark, GovExec
