On Thursday, November 21 the Public Interest Declassification Board (PIDB) will hold a public meeting at the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) to discuss its recommendations to the President on transforming classification, and gather input on prioritizing declassification. If you would like to attend, please note that space is limited and you must sign up via Eventbrite.
Keep an eye on the PIDB's blog, Transforming Classification, to read and respond to the Board's initial thoughts on what topics should be prioritized for declassification review. Regular readers might remember that the PIDB used its blog to gather public input for its recommendations to the President. During that process, the PIDB posted white papers outlining their thoughts and asking for responses to targeted questions. The PIDB then posted a summary of the input they received and responded to the comments.
