Open The Government released a report, Sick of Secrecy: Challenges to Transparency in the COVID-19 Era, that captures lessons learned from hundreds of public records requests filed by open government advocacy organizations over the past year of increased secrecy at government agencies.
Advocacy organizations sent two letters to the House Committee on Science, Space Technology calling for the passage of the SI Act out of committee, and the Office of Management and Budget, calling for guidance to improve federal agencies’ pandemic data management.
