OTG Leads Broad Coalition Urging House to Pass Scientific Integrity Act; OMB to Issue Guidance on Pandemic Data

Open The Government led a coalition of science, conservation, research and accountability organizations in calling on the House to pass the Scientific Integrity Act out of the House Science, Space and Technology Committee. The Scientific Integrity Act would ensure scientists can carry out their research—and communicate it with the public—unconstrained by political interference, fear of retribution, or suppression. The letter states that the legislation is essential to the federal government’s ongoing response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
