OpenTheGovernment.org, Partners, Support Faster FOIA Act

OpenTheGovernment.org and more than 30 organizations concerned with transparency and accountability sent a letter to Senator Patrick Leahy (D-VT) and Senator John Cornyn (R-TX) in support of legislation, S. 3111, the Faster FOIA Act, that would establish a commission that is required to make recommendations to Congress and the President for reducing impediments to the efficient processing of FOIA requests.
