Don't believe that openness can make us safer? Here's a great example. Kudos to Fred Millar and reporter Mike Kirsch for their work on an investigation into unsecured railcars carrying dangerous chemicals through cities. The investigation by WFOR-TV in Miami led officials to heighten security while saying little about what they would do to make the public more secure. For the story, see: WFOR-TV.
